Illuminated Transmission resulted from the media projects unit at Murdoch University. The installation comprises of  audio, visual and sculptural elements. The work is made up of two vibration plates (on the floor and top plate), an audio soundtrack from headphones and rear projection video through a  layer of liquid. The liquid layer is fed a range of audio frequencies through a surface mount speaker to create cymatic patterns that blend with the content of the projected video. I would consider this installation to be in a developmental stage and plan to investigate and refine the work at a later date.
