The Sculptor's Ritual is Western Australian feature film directed by Christopher Kenworthy. For this film I was asked by Art Director Emma Fletcher to model a small series of demonic clay figures that would be used in a short sequence of the film. The sequence involved the main character smashing and burying them and can be seen for a millisecond in the trailer below at around the 42 second mark. All that remains are the concept sketches that I made and the photographic documentation of the models.

For this film I was asked by the Davison Brothers to manufacture the armature components for the skeletal structure of the claymation figures. My contribution was an insignificant speck when compared to the amount of work that went into the production of this film. I have put this up mainly because the Davison Brother's animations blow me away and are well worth checking out. For more information on the the Davison Brothers go to http://www.davisonbros.com

I was approached by the event organizer and asked if I would like to dress up as Leatherface and great guest's as they arrived on the night.
I'm sure I replied with a "F$%* Yes!" Had a ball that night and managed to scare plenty of movie goers. "Sorry I don't own a plastic sledge hammer, this one is real." |
